Joyce

While I was on my break from the Deep Fry Shack, I wandered around and checked out some of the other booths and vendors at The Wheelie Commons. I spent the longest time at a booth called Records, Tapes and Stuff and found this excellent record that not only had great religious songs on it, but had the jazziest cover in the history of all the world!

She’s called Joyce, and she is simply divine. Thankfully Arlette has an old record player, so I was able to crank this baby up. The only sample I could find online, was a short clip of Joyce’s power ballad, “I Get All Excited.” Oh my. I got kind of excited too.
